The TFF Mag Rebrand

It all started with a bit of Inspiration from Nicole Bitchie, Wordpress, and a desire for Femme identified lesbians to have a place to call their own. A baby gay at the time, I had an innate passion to serve my community by keeping up with all thing queer and newsworthy. That was over a decade ago.

The Fab Femme blog is a staple within the Black LGBTQ community. Rooted in New Orleans Louisiana in it’s inception, TFF Mag quickly became a catalyst to queer art, film, and media. After a relocation to Texas years later, TFF Mag manifested into a physical medium becoming a host to queer events, interactive Facebook groups (IYKYK, Mixher was that girl) and a film production called “30” featured on Amazon Prime.

Over time, the community changed, queerness changed, and my personal relationship with the The Fab Femme became dormant. The brand I created in my early 20’s was no longer serving me or the community I belong to. Something needed to shift. In a world of surface level bullshit and organized hate against queer people, we need something MORE.

Today, I come to you all bearing gifts from years of evolution as an artist and a queer person. As we move forward with The Fab Femme, the goal will be to intentionally create space, bring awareness to topics that affect our community, and make art that reflects our realities.

Thank you for your loyalty and love over the years and get ready to embark on a new journey with the Fab Femme and friends!
